That's all very well, but this problem has persisted since the list began and
1. I find it hard to believe you don't have an option to disable the
transliteration (not to speak of adding a Reply-To line so we don't
need to get two copies of half the messages when subscribers get
lazy).
2. When there are several long-established and highly reliable
packages such as listserv, Majordomo, and EIMS (once the "APPLE
Internet Mail Server") that are more than adequate to service all
your lists and provide all the logging and archiving you need, I
can't understand why you need to be beta-testing a product that has
such an inglorious history.
