That's normally a good approach, but I suspect in this case you're looking
for problems that don't exist. Well, not in that area, anyway.
If you're using a sheet-fed device like a laser printer, you specify page
size; if it's roll-fed, you specify width, and only specify a page gap if
asked for one.
