Not necessarily, if the person receiving has a PC. This step is
necessary, IME. Otherwise, believe me, I wouldn't be asking it, and I
wouldn't have invested the cash in getting Maclink. I don't have
MSWord on my machine. (Well, I do, but the version being used - 5.1 -
isn't scriptable.)
You can either double click on the rtf document and it will open in
Word or you can open the MSWD >application then choose "Open" from
the File Menu then select the rtf you want to open via the
dialog >box. You can even select .rtf from the list of file types to
open when you are in this dialog box.
Sorry, but I'm still looking for someone who could advise about
scripting Maclink.
