Charles,
I use Word on Mac (office:2001) and on Win XP and I don't have any trouble
opening ANY kind of RTF file (no matter the creator) simply by dropping it
on Word, in either platform.
Is there something else that you may be doing -- or wanting to do -- that
didn't come across in the first post?
If you send a Mac Word RTF to a Win user, then they can open it just fine,
and vice versa.
MacLink is intended to translate between types, like from a ClarisWorks 4.0
to a MS Word 2001, for example. But would not be required at all to simply
translate one RTF document to another RTF document.
Any further info you could give?
