Yes. And I have found through experience that people who are sent the rtf files (which have already been converted from a different proprietary format - Mariner Write - into RTF via Applescript) cannot read the files created there. But if I then use a Maclink converter app to convert them to MSWord format, then the people receiving them can read them. And this being publishing, they don't like to wonder about the vagaries of rich text format, which are many.

So, the call's still open for anyone who can script Maclink as it would remove a manual step from this conversion process.
