I think you'd better tell us what exactly you're talking about. If it's
script editor, go to Software Update and update to AppleScript 1.8.3, which
will include a new Script Editor. If it's no longer available there, go to
the Apple Software site and download it (1.8.3 for OS X of course, not OS
9).

I appear to have corrupted my current version of AS Editor 1.8.3 which has now been consigned to the Trash. I have visited the Apple Download site & retrieved the 2.2mb download. I duly re-install the programme & restart but nothing happens. No new AS folder, no new AS Editor, no new nothing.

Is there something blatantly obvious that I'm missing?
