I believe it will be huge too. I think what would cinch the case would be to:

1. Have Script Editor be able to record user activities from the System Events (Accessibility APIs) perspective and render them into a script format. The idea being to bypass the traditional notion (and expense) of each application implementing recording individually. The UIElementInspector is already able to provide a lot of this information dynamically.

2. Allow the user to assign hotkeys to their scripts in the script menu.

That's it. MacroMaker here we come!
