Bill,
If you're talking about ScriptMaker scripting (vs. AppleScripting), the
FMPro help documentation itself is pretty extensive, I think. If
you're looking for details on AppleScripting FMPro (vs. FileMaker
ScriptMaker scripting), there is actually a nice resource available
from FileMaker. I'll just quote the FileMaker Pro Help documentation:
"A complete reference for Apple event support, containing almost 60
pages of information, is available as a FileMaker Pro database (if you
did a complete installation). Refer to the file named Apple Events
Reference in the FileMaker and Apple Events folder for a complete
description of all FileMaker Pro events and objects along with many
examples and usage tips. In the same folder are folders containing some
Apple events applets and applets with syntax examples."
Of course, the advent of OSX has turned a lot of FMP AppleScripting
upside down, as likely will the release of FMP7.
Another resource I've used in the past is a Visual QuickStart Guide
book called "AppleScript for the Internet". Despite its title, it has
a nice section on FileMaker, as well as chapters on numerous other Mac
apps. Actually, I see now that the latest revision of this book has a
more apt title: "AppleScript for Applications". It was written by
Ethan Wilde. You can find more info on this great little book here:
http://www.peachpit.com/books/
You'll have to tunnel down a little on your own once you get there --
the actual ASP link to the book is ridiculously long.
Hope this helps.

Anyone know of any good source of information on FileMaker Pro's
internal scripting. I've figured out a bunch of things, but would like
to have a reference of some sort. The user manual is a bit thin on
this subject.
