While I'd agree that it's the most logical place to store it (in terms of
being able to find it, knowing what scripts are available to you, and so
on) I'd have to say that my experience is that it's always faster to bind
such scripts to a key combo, using things like iKey and so on.
Doing a finger combination is almost always faster than a mouse
movement for me, because the mouse control requires you to (1) locate the
mouse (2) locate the menu (3) scroll down the menu to the script, and do
all of those steps accurately.
Whereas if you have your muscle memory going well, and choose your
keyboard combo well, then scripts to sign or reply to emails (for example)
are almost reflexive. Mouse control is never reflexive.
