It records actions and translates those to a script (which you'll then still
need to edit to be useful for more generall use - recordability is mostly
useful to get an idea of what an application supports; what syntax it needs).
But it is dependant upon the target application being recordable. Most apps
are not recordable unfortunately. (If recordability is important to you, make
sure the author of the app knows about that.)
