Same here. But if you add a line after that returns something other than the malformed (presumably) posix file object, then it at least finishes executing.

It looks like the hang is in the attempt to resolve the result of the bogus value in Script Editor. If I run the same script from FastScripts it doesn't hang - presumably because FastScripts doesn't care about (or attempt to resolve) the result.
