To me, it sounds like it could be just a bug in UDF. But I work on
the Finder, not UDF, so I can't say for sure. Please file a bug
report with the details, so someone can investigate.

Snooping on Authorization Services suggests that Tiger has some
additional undocumented *features* rather than bugs.
Obviously out of the scope of AS, but it would be a lot easier to
deal with this sort of thing if the error messages were a little more
verbose... or documented :(
