In Tiger, they are. I think they are first saved after 30 seconds or
a minute, and then are continually saved as the message remains
open. I haven't timed it.
But, as I said, they are also saved when you press command-S.
I'm going to try doing it with GUI Scripting so I don't have to
remind the user to do anything but run a script (from the Dock
perhaps).
Or the script menu.
Identifying which message in Drafts is the current (frontmost) one
seems dicey (based on subject perhaps?)
Well, if messages are sent as soon as they are finished, there should
be only one message in the draft folder at a time, but I realize that
not everyone sends as soon as she finishes it.
