Last week I posted a comment on a problem with disk images and the "Open new windows in column view" box in Finder Preferences. All of my efforts to find a cause and remedy for the problem were fruitless. Today, I downloaded "CHUD_4.3.3.dmg" from Apple, only to find that it did not show the CHUD logo because I have the "Open new windows in column view" box checked.

I filed bug id 4561160.
