While we are on the subject of language, I'm looking for "visually
onomatopoeic" words. It's sort of like onomatopoeic words, but instead
of sounding like what they mean, they look like it.

Mandarin is harder if you don't know a tonal language, or Japanese

I studied Japanese; it's fairly easy compared to English. I knew
people who studied Mandarin; they said it was fairly easy once they
got the tonality down, which didn't take all that long.
I'm referring to the spoken language, not the written language.
English has so many irregularities (in both spelling and grammar),
homonyms, homophones, different words that mean (almost) the same
thing, and colloquialisms & slang.

Literally, it is true, but I—and I'm sure that others as well—take
into consideration that English (which is reputed to be the
hardest language to learn) is not your native language.
