These two helped me but I am not sure if they are updated. Where are
you getting hung up?

I'm getting hung up when I try to go through the interface builder.  The examples
in the books I have don't jive with the current version of Xcode, so I can't get off
the ground on the simplest of projects.  I think I just have to find publications
that came out after the release of the latest version of Xcode, which was
last summer.

Have you been through the stuff like Xcode Help under the Help Menu?

Yes, but it's a bit overwhelming.  I need a good foundation before I get
ahead of myself.  I also just went through some pubs from the ADC
library.  It's coming along slowly, but at least the ADC pubs and articles
are up to date.  Thanks.

You want to build applications using Applescript? I think you want the
AppleScriptObjC list, it might better serve your needs in this case.

Thanks, you are probably right.  I got to Xcode via a couple of books on
Applescripting.  I will give the AppleScriptObjC list a try as well.

Here's a good source for good sources of info including a link to the
AppleScriptObjC list:

I know of no books about AppleScriptObjC.

I did find a book called Xcode 3 Unleashed,
by Fritz Anderson.  I'd buy it in a second, but I'm afraid that it might
make me 0 for 3.  It came out in 2008, and the version of Xcode
I'm using came out in Aug 2009.
