I'm getting hung up when I try to go through the interface builder. The examples in the books I have don't jive with the current version of Xcode, so I can't get off the ground on the simplest of projects. I think I just have to find publications that came out after the release of the latest version of Xcode, which was last summer.
Yes, but it's a bit overwhelming. I need a good foundation before I get ahead of myself. I also just went through some pubs from the ADC library. It's coming along slowly, but at least the ADC pubs and articles are up to date. Thanks.
From: Dennis Cox < email@hidden> You want to build applications using Applescript? I think you want the AppleScriptObjC list, it might better serve your needs in this case.
Thanks, you are probably right. I got to Xcode via a couple of books on Applescripting. I will give the AppleScriptObjC list a try as well.
I did find a book called Xcode 3 Unleashed, by Fritz Anderson. I'd buy it in a second, but I'm afraid that it might make me 0 for 3. It came out in 2008, and the version of Xcode I'm using came out in Aug 2009. No, but I will...Thanks
