Keep a test script attached to a macro, and give the macro an unlikely to be used keyboard shortcut like Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-(KeyPad zero).
Create another macro that opens that script for editing.
Then you're 2 keystrokes and a little bit of editing away from running a test script.
