To be clear, this is one area where signed code can be a big plus. If an app uses GUI scripting or needs access to some other feature that requires authorization, the user normally has to authorize it again each time the code changes. But if you authorize a code-signed app, as long as the new version is signed with the same ID (and obviously has the same bundle ID), you don't have to re-authorize new versions.
