be very careful using mailto: links. Unfortunately they are
exploited by the spam-bots, and if you are successful at promoting
your web-site, then soon anyone with an email "
mailto:" link may
start getting SPAM.
There are ways around this. Two links immediately below give access
to some tools that allow you to "hide" your email address from the
SPAM-bots.

We contacted our local Ma & Pa ISP and they gave us 5MB (more than ample
for us and we have 8 or so pages) in exchange for placing their
logo/link on our home page and newsletter. No CGI-bins, et al. Just some
free server space.
As for email, I just do a "mailto:" to the user who would be responsible
for answering the question in question.
