| Well I certainly want to thank ALL for the many suggestions. After spending some time on the phone and in email, it looks like we may be able to use a classroom in the newly minted computer science building on the UL campus. As a graduate student myself, I've talked to other grad students who are Mac users on campus and specifically one who has access to labs in the new building.
With administrator approval (which we think can be gotten), we should be able to secure this as a meeting place. If we need to make this a campus affiliated organization in order to increase the likelihood of making it happen, we will look into that. But one stipulation I have is that non-students should be able to attend.
