Apple would have to know several months out, at least a rough window.
They have to gear up retail manufacturing and shipment, along with
image staging for New Macs going out the door. In addition to Apple
Retail Store training, and marketing.
It's not like someone said "WE'LL RELEASE TOMORROW!" and it happened.
