I hope I don't get hammered for not looking in the
docs - I have!
But I can't find anything mentioning the "split pane"
control. This is the thing that seperates the message
list from the message itself in Mail.app. Project
Builder also uses these - almost too much!
I'm working on an app that could you this type of UI
element, but I can't see how to do one.
IB doesn't seem to support it and when I browsed the
Aqua guidelines on Apple's web site, there was no
mention of it.
Still, if Mail.app uses it, it must be OK to use :-)
