Some apps refuse to launch in 10.2.8! (OT, but very important)

A handful of apps refuse to launch in 10.2.8. They all close without
warning and give the same error message:

Oct 13 00:09:49 DaveysLaptop WindowServer[457]: ERROR! execle(path to
bad app) returned, err=22

This happens on some downloaded apps, like Clutter and the Red
Orchestra mod for UT2003, and also on some apps that I compiled a few
months ago. Can anyone explain what's going on? If it helps, I have a
15" AlBook with 10.2.8 (6R73). Also, is anyone else experiencing this
strange behavior from their apps?

Thanks!

David McGavern
