Ack, at 4/17/04, Ondra Cada said:

Seems to me it is a bug in the user, so to speak, who tries to do
things so ugly he should not be surprised. Next time someone tries to
delete a running application?

But why? It shouldn't ever have caused a problem. And the Finder prevents you from deleting an application that in use. Never to fond of people suggesting that a feature get removed to fix a bug or prevent some security issue.

From the more practical point of view it again supports my old rant
that all the application should be in the admin space, and all users
should *always* work in non-admin accounts.

So users feel that need to be admin to get any work done?
