It looks like the writing is on the wall. Use Objective-C or go home. A half supported java solution is, well, no solution. Looks like I'll have to start over. Only a couple of weeks of spare time lost and I learned about other aspects of modern Mac programming that were not wasted. Anybody want to buy a Java book?
The framework knowledge that you have built up will translate just fine. I learned ObjC after using the Java bridge for a few weeks--there wasn't anything lost in the transition and so much was gained. |
