Actually; I haven't ever covered this tidbit. First remove the entire set of
PressReady press profiles from your ColorSync folder (these are the profiles
with names like U.S. Sheetfed Coated... plus the EuroScale and JapanStandard
profiles, total of seven) Then find where Adobe hid the new second generation
profiles (system folder>application support>
Adobe>Color>Profiles>Recommended>the actual profiles)... Gee, you'd think
maybe they didn't want you to find them... then copy them to the Colorsync
folder (option drag them). Interestingly enough, they will not be available
for you to select in the Adobe Print Color control panel under CMYK by
pushing the "add" button, but instead appear to automatically link to the
existing list items, as the first generation profiles did. Seems that Adobe
may have messed about with the internal names to get this to happen...
