You need two profiles. One of the device you want to simulate, and one
for the printer you are printing on (the inkjet proofer, in this case the
7000).

For a SWOP profile, on another list someone said there was one at
www.swop.org, but I took about 2 minutes looking around for one and
didn't find it. (2 minutes probably isn't sufficient).

I really think we're about 2 years overdue for getting SWOP profiles
based on TR001 measurement data into the mainstream. I find it hard to
believe we still can't find one that we know WORKS at least reasonably
well.

Steve (Upton), do you have any SWOP profiles on Profile Central? I have a
few, a couple even based on TR001 but are not tested.

Anyone else? I'll cc: someone I know affiliated with SWOP Inc. and see if
they have any plans or desire to post SWOP profiles (or test them then
post them).

Same thing. If you're on a Mac, you just need to change the type to
"prof" and the creator to "sync" and then it will be used. I think I
still have an AppleScript (maybe it's just a droplet) on my web page that
does this. If not let me know and I'll stick it up there.
