I need some clarification and maby a redirrect; My original question was
finding a source for emperical readings { taken from a Macbeth color
checker} of these swatches in RBG and CMYK. I know Kodak posted readings for
their IT8 chart {in LAB}.

Bruce replyed that these readings would be different in various "color
spaces"....
..........."but now I am confused. I thought the spaces were a way of
telling the monitor or devices how to display or print color but do not
modify the actual data....therefore the readings in photoshop WOULD be of
the raw data, and should be consistant regardless of how they LOOKED on the
monitor or printed?????
