Hi,

Yesterday I tried calibrating a monitor, connected to a G3/233, with the
Adobe Gamma control panel.
After going through the calibration screens I saved the profile under a
different name in the System Folder:colorsync folder, but I can't see this
profile when I open the Colorsync control panel or the monitors & sound
control panel. So I can't set the system profile to this monitor profile I
created.

Another weird thing which I don't see on the other Macs with a calibrated
screen: the mouse pointer does not seem to follow the calibration of the
screen. I set te target of the monitor to 6500K but than the mouse pointer
looks quite blue, especially when the pointer becomes a little hand. It
seems the system is sending the uncorrected data to the video output,
without taking into account the calibrated profile. I tried everything,
reinstalled the system software but found no sulution. It's purely a
cosmetic issue, but still I wonder why the other Macs (8600 and 9600) don't
show this. Only the desktop G3/233! Can it be a firmware issue?
Has anyone ever seen something like this?

I'm using system 8.6, colorsync 2.6.1.

Kind regards,
Guy Van den bril.
