Yes, this is the way to get maximal luminance from your monitor, but I hope
you are not planning to run it at this level, it will burn itself out in a
matter of months! Before (as I recall) you were getting something in the 50s
or 60s, if you balance it between 85 and 95 (as the directions indicate) it
should be reasonably bright, and last for a few years...
