I doubt the metamerism is just a pigment choice problem,
there is something going on with pigment size and the acryl
encapsulation of the pigment particles. That paper coatings
influence the metamerism so much is an indication.
Thanks for all the advices concerning profiling the Epson 9500, but
his main problem is not the metamerism. He will show his
reproductions under tungsten light all the time, so he is adjusting
his prints to look good in that light.
His problems has more to do with getting a good neutral, smooth
gradient. His prints shows major shifts between green and magenta.
His prints from the Epson 2000 is much better. But he just can't get
the Epson 9500 to come close to what he is expecting from the Epson
2000.
