Of course, and nobody wants to convert into CMYK, everybody wants to
stay in RGB / Lab.
But chaining an output space (RGB working space -> large gamut inkjet
or offset space -> monitor space) compresses the RGB working space to
something more like the size of the monitor space and gets rid of a
worry over unseen colors. Or put in another way, work in Proof Colors
mode with Ink Black selected, but hand off RGB just the same -:).
