I have.
Well, maybe I can help.
Normally drum scanners are used for CMYK-scans.
But how about scans for RGB-workflows?
Does the scanner software offer a perfect solution, if you want the
RGB-image to work in an ICC invironment, like Photoshop 6?
Maybe the scanner does a fine job, and the software too - but without an
ICC-profile, you might not get all these fine details correctly into
Photoshop.
I admit that I haven't made any ICC-profiles for drum-scanners, but I did
make a few for high end scanners, like Imacon Flextight Precision II and
Fuji Lanovia (flatbed),
both with very fine results, leading to ;perfect+ RGB-scans wich could be
converted to any RGB-colormode in say Photoshop or Linocolor without loss
of importaint detail
Hope this might be helpfull...
