Well, I would like to point out that Scitex CT does support embedding of
ICC profiles, check out:

http://www.helios.de/support/develop/ICCtagging.html>
and click on the link for the specification in PDF format. This has a
short chapter on how to embed ICC profiles in various formats, including
Scitex CT as it is for example used in our OPI software.
