That's great!!!!! but, do both the booth and the lightbox have light
intensity adjustable switches (ballast's) ?? Are they of a size that allows
them to be placed directly next to that NEW Sony monitor you are buying this
week. This for easy matching their intensity to your calibrated monitor's
screen-white. In addition, be sure to get (or make) a light hood for that
New monitor to cut down on the mixed ambient light of your work environment
prior to making the calibration with the Spyder.
Also, when was the last time anyone changed bulbs in these viewing devices???

moving from daylight, tungsten, to fluorescent, to the lightbox.
You would be helping yourself greatly if you could make the room in which you
are working one of low ambient non-mixed lighting, which comes from a
consistent source, that is not located behind you or directly above the
monitor. You could further improve you results visually by painting walls in
your area a neutral (35% to 50%) gray value.
