This is true, but it's also not the full story.

The PostScript pipeline for InDesign 1.5 content is indeed limited to CMYK. But the way three channel data is intended to be got out is by creating PDF 1.3.

This again means using iQueue for converting the PDF 1.3 document and Acrobat 5 for printing the converted document as deviceColor objects.
