"Tell me what the color value is for Pantone XXX is. Say Pantone 192
You must have either the Lab value or an RGB value / and the RGB Color Space
neither of which Pantone will tell you."
I don't know who was originally looking for this info, or even if it will
help, but I was able to export Lab values from the PANTONE Coated library
provided with X-Rite's ColorShop. I have no way of verifying them, but I
would assume that X-Rite probably didn't just make them up. I did this a
year ago and the library didn't include the 7000 series colors that
originated in the last publication of the PANTONE book. I would think that
they would have updated it by now. So that may be a source for the values
that you're looking for.
