Ah... I just got a dongle today, plugged it in and ran 4.0 just fine (like
the red light). But 3.X will not run (not a huge issue I guess).

Interesting. Well now it makes sense. What happened to me is (for the very
first time using a dongle), the old dongle got fried or something. Monday
it's running fine. Tuesday the little light will not go on and no matter how
many machines I try, it's looking like my little dongle is dead. So while
originally I figured I'd end up with two dongles, fate had a different plan.
So it sounds like I would have ended up with a dead dongle anyway. The
dongle I got was from my friends inside of GretagMacbeth after my panic
about losing the old one so they must have sent a programmed dongle ready to
go.
So I guess I'll burry my old dongle in the back yard (RIP).
Can you run 3.X with your dongle? I can't see why I'd want to but I'm
curious if there is any reason to keep the old application around.
Now all I need is an OSX release!
I have to tell you, after being able to run ProfileMaker anytime I wanted,
and then finding the old dongle being DOA, I was really feeling strange
until this new one came. I was just SO happy I could run 4.0 again. God I
hate dongles!
