Scanning is an RGB process, what you are referring to is a forced conversion
to CMYK at the scanner level. Since the Lambda is an RGB device I can not
imagine any reason for converting scans to CMYK (of any size) before sending
to it. Are you emulating a press with the Lambda, or some other special
situation?
