HI all
i work in a print shop that has moved to an icc workflow,we have profiled
scanners, monitors and output proofing devices.matching color has improved
greatly since doing so,but it still comes down to common sense.we all still
go by the numbers,we have been going by the numbers for many years, for
someone to go by the display only is outrageous.the only difference now is
sometimes you use rgb numbers or cmyk .the problem is when people dont know
the numbers and start doing work in photoshop, you wouldnt believe the
questions we get from customers that want to do thier own retouching, what
are those register marks on the file?probably 3 times this past week.too
many people that dont know what they are doing buy photoshop and think they
are prepess profesionals
john
