Profile Maker (Gretag) have a linearise chart . It's function however is not
intended to linearise the printer , but verify a repeatable state for a
corresponding profile.

Most rip's will have functions to linearise before profiling. The amount of
time spent linearising rewards the quality of the profiles made. Quite the
opposite of one button color. The results are more than convincing when seen
though. Andrew and CD mentioned something about the upcoming Epsons with a
linearise function in the rgb driver?
