If you have sufficient volume to justify a $2500 investment, and you don't
have to scan larger than medium format, may I suggest a Nikon 8000 as the
solution to the problem of scanning negs. Nikon's primary customer base is
color neg oriented, and the current Nikonscan software does a very good job
with negs.
