Hi All:
stupid question from an 'ole mac user.....
Recently, I've been noticing mac photographers have been migrating from the
good, friendly gamma setting of 1.8 to the PeeCee standard 2.2.
For a long time, way back, our standard mac system gamma was 1.8.
Did I miss a meeting, where the accepted gamma setting has been bumped up to
2.2, or is this something of a preference. I've been happy to maintain my
system, spyder and scanner calibrations to 1.8.
I guess my simple question is, have we accepted gamma 2.2 as a mac standard
now?
thanks for indulging my dumb question...
