I've got a 20 inch apple cinema display - happy user...
the screen shows the picture (photoshop 7.0) a bit too much red... so I
opened Colorsync under system-control-panel (osx10.2.6) where I correct
many displayprofiles in the past with. there I chose the tab for
displays and navigate to the register colors to edit the apple cinema
display profile.
I selected the apple cinema display and chose the calibrations button.
in the calibrations assistant I selected the expert-mode but I couldn't
find the option to correct the single gamma value for each color R G
B !!! (if I connect a crt-display I get this options) that's a bit
annoying because it would ned just a little correction in the red
gamma!!
I was looking around and found the ColorSync utility which looks
perfect. it shows me all information about the profile and it looks
like I could edit some values for example the red gamma. but it seams
to be not possible - now idea why I can't change the values!
fact is, on my apple cinema display the pictures appear too red - the
profile needs to correct
is there a why to correct that without using
hardware-calibrations-tools?
greetz and thanks
mitschu
