One other thought re: Anthony Sanna's difficulties getting a Linocolor
scanner recognized in Mac OS X --

I have the same problem - a Saphir Ultra II running off an OEM'd Adaptec
SCSI card that will not work in OS X.

Last week at Macworld/SF, I spoke with the Initio people, who claim they
have a SCSI>Firewire converter which should solve the problem. About $99 US.

I will advise if this approach is successful.
