With forty minutes of experimentation, here are my settings that seem to
work every time (17" Tibook 10.2.6 ? CB Pro 4.2). I am using iMate Driver
version 1.5.3, it's beta but has worked well. I set "Classic Claims iMate".
I leave the iMate and dongle unplugged until I need it. I always plug the
iMate and dongle >in after 10.2.6 is up and running (contrary to OS 9.x
methodology). You should see the extension load (when classic loads) and CB
Pro will recognize the dongle every time.
Initially this did not work. What I ended up doing was removing the OS 9
version (including an old control panel) and re-installing the OS X
version, adding the requisite extension to the OS 9 System folder. After
setting "Classic Claims iMate" and restarting OS X, plugging in the iMate
w/dongle, and launching Classic I'm now able to run ColorBlind Pro 4.0 in
Classic mode.
Thanks Marc...
