Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has come across this problem I am having with PS
7.0.1.
I have created a output profile for our cromalin proofing system using
PM4.1.1 for softproofing in Photoshop 7.0.1. I found after selecting this
profile in 'proof setup' I needed to make some edits to the colour of my
cromalin profile to match a little more closer to our cromalin proofing. I
made some edits using ProfileEditor and saved the updated profile as a
different name 'Cromalin Softproof v2.icc'.
The problem I am having in Photoshop 7.0.1 is seeing a change in the colour
when selecting my new updated profile. I can see the colour changes using
ProfileEditor when selecting between my original profile and my new updated
profile. I tried Photoshop 5.0 and could also see colour changes when
selecting between my profiles in 'colour settings', but could not see any
changes when I'm using PS 7.0.1. I have tried other Mac computers we have
with PS7.0.1 and find I am having the same problem. I have selected my
profiles in both 'color settings' and 'proof setup' - same result!
Has anyone else come across this problem?
Could it be a bug in PS7.0.1?
Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!
