Your testimony actually got me thinking about giving the S9000 a try.

Keith's post got my attention to. Sounded like real CS-poetry.
I looked around and found that
Canon announced the i9100 (499$) to replace the s9000
with OS X 10.2.1 driver, 4800 resolution (s9000=2400) A3+ Borderless P
and will also be supported by the iProof PowerRip 2000 (OS X or in
Classic-mode?).
I will wait for the i9100 and give this this combination a try.
Can hardly wait to see the magic.
Getting to optimistic? Why not - for once.
