Thank you Rahul for this information. It is helping a great deal.
I might decide to go with the Xante CL-30, same engine as the 9500 like you
point out. But, it does not feature the breadth of color managemernt
controls the 9500 has. On the other hand, the 9500, if it is not purchased
with the BEST ColorProof RIP, is NOT a true blue Adobe CPSI. The Xante CL-30
is a true blue Adobe PS3 RIP. So, if I go with the Xante, I know there is an
option to completely turn off ALL color matching in the printer. That way, I
would do the color management in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I
suspect the Xante CL-30 will be cheaper than the 9500/BEST combo?
