First, any printer you buy, DO NOT buy the Phaser 7700. Search the list for reasons.
For print quality, print the PhotoDisc Target on 200g paper in your witness, and if you do buy, be prepared for calibrating it at least t.i.d., and things not just stop there.
However, I'm interested in your iQueue flow, "Final files are almost always Source Program > PDF > IQueue > Printer."
Does iQueue (let me presume it's 140) drive the 7700 directly? IF not, how do you set the print driver dialog especially the color tab? AND I believe if iQueue can't drive the 7700 directly, you'd have to print within Acrobat, so what's the use of iQueue? Please enlight me and sorry for my ignorance.
Lastly, have a look at the Xante.
Thanks,
JM Shen
